Service interval checker
Quick check: is this vehicle due (or overdue) for a service based on kilometres and months since the last service? Uses common logbook-style intervals you can edit. Not a manufacturer schedule — always confirm against the vehicle’s logbook or OEM data. Nothing is stored.

Estimates only, not a guarantee. Results come from the numbers and assumptions you set, not from measured customer data, so your shop may do better or worse. All figures are AUD excluding GST unless stated. Nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere.
Workshop Hub stores service history on the vehicle and can send reminders when you switch them on. Try the live demo.

How the checker works
- Enter current odometer and the odometer at the last service to get km since service.
- Enter months since the last service (or approximate from the date).
- Compare against the interval you choose (for example 10,000 km / 6 months or 15,000 km / 12 months).
- Due when either the km or the time interval is reached — whichever comes first, matching how most logbooks work.
About the intervals
- Common Australian logbook intervals are often 10,000 km / 6 months or 15,000 km / 12 months, but brands and models differ. European brands may use longer flexible intervals.
- Severe conditions (dust, short trips, towing) often need earlier services — follow the severe schedule in the logbook when it applies.
- This tool does not look up a specific VIN or rego. For that, use your workshop software or OEM data.
Tips for workshops
- Record the next service due km and date on the invoice so the customer has it in writing.
- Service reminders in Workshop Hub stay off for imported vehicles until you turn them on — no surprise texts the day you switch.
- Check cabin and engine filters visually even when the customer is “between” services.

Questions about this calculator
- Is this the same as a manufacturer schedule?
- No. It compares the numbers you enter against an interval you choose. Always confirm against the logbook or OEM schedule for that VIN.
- What if km and time disagree?
- Most logbooks say service at whichever limit comes first. If either km or months is due, treat the vehicle as due.
- Does this store the rego or odometer?
- No. Everything stays in your browser.
