Workshop software built inside a working workshop
Workshop Hub is Australian workshop software for independent auto repair shops, built by a working mechanic and workshop owner at Driven Autocare on the Gold Coast.
Why Workshop Hub exists
Workshop Hub was built by a mechanic who also runs a workshop: Driven Autocare on the Gold Coast, Queensland. The software started as the system used to run that workshop day to day, the booking diary, job cards, quotes, invoices and the screens the mechanics use on the floor.
It is now a multi-shop version of that system for other Australian workshops. Each shop gets its own workspace, branding and billing, with Australian defaults such as ABN and GST-ready invoices, Australian rego lookup and Queensland roadworthy tools.
What it does
- A shared booking diary with an online booking widget, and card deposits on Shop and above.
- Job cards, photo quotes and ABN and GST-ready invoices, with Stripe payment links.
- A phone-friendly mechanic screen for clocking on, checklists, notes and parts (Shop and above).
- Customer status links, service and rego reminders and Google review requests (Shop and above).
- Built-in AI: an assistant on every plan, and an AI quote writer and missing-charge check on Shop and above.
- Accounting sync on Shop and above, with Xero as the lead integration.
How Workshop Hub describes its product
- Plans are Solo $59, Shop $129 and Pro+ $189 per month, plus GST, in Australian dollars. SMS and rego lookups are prepaid credits.
- The AI Receptionist is an optional add-on for Pro+ at $119 per month plus GST, with 60 calls included and then $1.50 plus GST per extra call. It is not included in any plan.
- MYOB sync is coming soon and is not live yet.
- The safety certificate register records and tracks roadworthy certificates; the official certificate still comes from the transport authority. Roadworthy and pre-purchase checklists are Queensland-based and on Pro+.
- Workshop Hub is web-based and runs in a phone, tablet or desktop browser. It is not distributed through an app store.
